Resource Mobilisation Initiative

>Client Context
To expand its interventions across ECOWAS member states, the Fund for Regional Stabilization and Development (FRSD) sought to identify new development partners and mobilise additional resources from both traditional and emerging donor sources.

Our Approach
Christopher-Kings Advisory (CKA) conducted research, stakeholder consultations, and donor mapping to identify potential partners aligned with the Fund’s mandate.

The engagement included:
• Consultations with the FRSD Steering Board and Technical Board
• Engagement with development partners including BMZ, KfW, and GIZ
• Comprehensive donor landscape analysis
• Development of tailored donor profiles and proposal pitches

What We Delivered
• Profiles of 10 priority donors, highlighting thematic alignment and entry points for engagement
• Proposal pitches tailored to each identified donor
• Project report with recommendations to guide resource mobilisation

Engagement Outcome
The engagement produced a structured donor mapping framework and targeted proposals to support the Fund’s partnership development and resource mobilisation strategy.
